I met Amanda in the industry and was instantly attracted to her sweet calming energy. She radiated professionalism and I just knew that I had to have her on my hair team. 

Amanda has been in the beauty industry for 18 years. She started her career in Vancouver doing makeup and hair for film. In 2008, she made the switch to hair full time honing her cut, colour, and styling skills. Since moving back to Ontario, she has focused on bridal work and teaching future stylists. 

Amanda is known for her natural soft boho styles. Her warmth radiates to our clients and creates the most amazing experience. I can always count on her to leave our clients feeling beautiful and at ease.

I was so lucky to have a fellow team member connect me with Katrina. I knew immediately that she was the perfect fit for the Makeup Worx team. Katrina is so unbelievably kind and always has a beautiful calm presence.

Katrina has been doing hair for over 15 years. She was a salon hair colourist director for 8 years and specialized in Balayage. She’s also taken classes in Toronto and New York City to keep her skills sharp. 

Our clients love Katrina’s kind disposition and her ability to execute their desired hair style effortlessly. She’s known for her textured updos and braids, and Boho brides are her specialty. I’m so lucky to have Katrina. 

I’ve had the honour of working with Kristina initially as a Makeup Worx bride. Her kind demeanour and eloquence instilled great confidence that she was meant to be a part of the Makeup Worx Team. 

Kristina has been in the industry for 17 years. Her hair resume is impressive - she’s worked at multiple fashion shows in Hamilton and was on the Jon Reyman team at New York fashion week in 2016. She has certified highschool cosmetology teachers and is extension certified. When she’s not working her magic on hair, she invests time into learning more about her craft. Kristina has taken classes with Australia’s style icon Sharon Blain and completed numerous classes with, Aveda, L’Oréal, Matrix, and Schwarzkopf. 

Kristina is known for her modern take on classic styles. She goes above and beyond to create our client’s hair vision and leaves them feeling confident and beautiful. Her professionalism and sweet poise never goes unnoticed. I’m so unbelievably proud to have her on my team. 

The moment I met Michelle I knew that we would forever be linked in the bridal world and I just had to have her on my team. Her professionalism, witty nature and constant flawless skin is intoxicating. 

She has this immediate calming effect on people and she genuinely cares. Her passion radiates from every style she does. Her warmth, incredible selections in personal lip colour and dewy skin along with her quick whit and charm make her a staple at Makeup Worx.
